Calculated line rate per port
This is the most a port can carry in each direction. The values describe the interface, not the throughput of a device running firewall rules, IPS or VPN.

G = calculated from the line rate (G for German “gerechnet”). The basis is 20 bytes of preamble and interframe gap per packet. Mbit/s counts the bits of the Ethernet frames. M = measured. We list measured values only once the test report and the raw data are available and have been checked. Until then, this page shows no measured value. Configuration per class, subject to change.
Rack versions
For 19-inch racks, the entry class comes in separate rack versions with their own hardware. They have an R in their name.
